Barnhaven© Strain Primula

Barnhaven© was founded by Florence Bellis. According to the current owners of the Barnhaven© nursery "...as early as 1954 she was selling "Victorian polyanthus" some of which were striped. By 1957 "Striped Victorians were offered as a separate series."

A limited number of "Striped Victorians" and "Elizabethan" polyanthus grown from Barnhaven© seed are available now (Spring 2001). In addition we offer Gold Lace Polyanthus from Barnhaven© seed. In 2001 we are growing a wider range of Barnhaven seed including: Double auriculas; Polyanthus Fuchsia Victorians; Valentine Victorians; Polyanthus "Little Egypt"; traditional mixture and a range of muted Victorians, chartreuse, desert sunset, harvest yellow, spice shades, marine blues and new pinks!
